On the other hand -- Black dogs, black clouds etc. evil omens.
    However they always held that their was no connection between fairies & the Good People. I think the fairies were regarded as the withered up hags who were enchanted or brought away by some magic and yet alive -- the 'Good people' were supposed to be spirits who were consigned to wander on earth.
