sisters would not hear of it. So he ordered his car to be got ready for the journey and he took one of his sisters with him. As they were going along, a light kept before them all the way until they reached the gate. Then it disappeared. He was not long landed when he got a sick call. A building was after falling and a lot of people were injured. Fr. Scanlon got ready to go and he left a student in the house after him.
When he arrived one of the men was dead. That night when they were in bed, the student heard strange noise and he went into the bed to the priest. The priest told him that that was the man he was late for. He came out of the bed and began reading a book. Then he went into bed again and heard no more noise.
