When night fell they entered a thick wood and lay down on the door and at dead of night they heard robbers entering and coming towards them. They climbed the tree in their terror and the robbers lit a fire under it and started roasting meat and counting their bags of gold. The lazy woman started to shout as the smoke blinded her and she said
* "Tee on ye, tee on ye." The robbers ran for their lives thinking it was a ghost up over them and left all their gold behind. So Siubháinín and her man came down and got it all and were rich ever after.
* The word "tee" is still used in this district as a command to leave the way clear. "Tee out of my way."
