Have been fated to suffer, to sorrow, and roam, They'll bound on the sea, and away o'er the foam
They'll sail to the music of "Home, Sweet Home.
Collected this foregoing poem from Miss A Armstrong, Tubbercurry, Co Sligo whose brother Luke Armstrong was a Fenian and spent some time in jail. She says it was composed by a a priest named Rev Abram J. Ryan to urge and stir up the f Fenians. Miss Armstrong is now about 74 years old- I do not know whether it is in print or not however I give it here.
