They had their main fort on the top of the hill and their sub-chiefs, and members of the family had numerous ones around or near the foot of the hill. The tracks of all can be seen still, called forts.On Knocknashee hill there is a stone chair and it is just like an arm-chair in shape. The first time one sits on it and makes one wish three times is sure to be granted it, if they can see Croagh Patarick from where they are sitting.
