    he heard a noise behind him and on looking round he saw a large black dog going around him with his jaws open and his eyes like coals of fire.
    "The man frightened", took up his spade and ran away as fast as he could to his own house near by.
    The following day he went to the spot and there was no earth only the grass growing over the place where he dug. He went home and told his story to some old man who said to him, that it was there about the black dog was usually seen by certain families which was a sure sign that someone was going to die belonging to them.
