    In the townland of Cluainlocháin an old fort is to be seen.

    told her that if she did not give them back there would not be a trace of her or her kindred in three years time.
    She then gave him back the articles, afterwards the same little man came back and thanked her, he also said that had she not done so she would soon die.
    He then said that she would go to a foreign country, that she would have a son named Brendan and that he would be one of the greatest saints that ever lived.
    Everything turned out as he predicted and St. Brendan is the patron saint of the parish of Castleconner.
