  1. The wild birds which are commonly found in our district are Rooks, Seagulls, Blackbirds, Larks, Thrushes, and Robins. There are several birds in this country that migrate such as Swallows, Cuckoos, Wildgeese, Corncrakes, and Widgeons. When the Swallows intend to migrate the collect in large numbers or telegraph wires, or on walls a few days before their flight. They leave in October and return to this country in the middle of April. The Cuckoos come late in April and go away in the beginning of July.
    In Spring the birds build their nests - some in the trees and bushes and others in the ditches and in the grass on the ground. It is said that if we breathe on the eggs in the nest that the bird will forsake it. If
