- A few hundred years ago there lived a woman alone in a house. One night she was up very late and about twlve oclock a lot of lovely girls came in to her. They began laughing and dancing and enjoying themselves very well. So they never spokke a word to the old woman the whole night. Then they ordered her to make tea and she said she had no milk in the house and she had a big basin above in the room, and it full of milk. When the cock creaw about three oclock next morning the all disappeared. But when the old woman got up next morning there was no milk in the basin atall but it was full of blood. So when the old woman told her story to the neighbours next morning they said it was the fairies.
