- (continued from previous page)ago the landlords owned the lands of this place. They were so cruel to the people here that a band of men rose up against them. They were called "the Moonlighters". They collected all the guns they could possibly get, and they hid them in a house in Barrow. One of them in which the guns were hidden was my grandfather's house. They were also hidden in a cave called "Poll an Cave Fiaróarg". The object of the Moonlighters was to put down the landlords and take the land from them.
