The girl's father was in the yard when he arrived. He was in great distress and he told [?] the man that his only daughter had died. The man went in and the "girl" was laid out upon the table. He asked her mother was the kettle boiled and she said it was, he took the kettle and poured put some of the water on corpse and as he did so, she flew up the chimney in a flash of fire.
