Christmas and Easter were the only times they had tea
The vessels the used were all made of timber - The local fairs held monthly in Tralee generally the second Tuesday of every month with the exception of the last three which are held ion the 9th Oct. 7th Nov and 13th Dec. The last named is called the Rock Fair. The last three are also called Old Fairs Buyers often travelled along the country and bought cattle at farm houses in old especially during the Great war but not nowadays.(continues on next page)
