    There is a Cathedral in Ardfert called Brendan's Cathedral. On the eastern gable of this Cathedral there is a tomb in which the remains of Lady Dowager Honora Fitzmaurice was buried.
    She was the wife of Lord Patrick Fitzmaurice the Lord Governor of Kerry. When she was a young woman, she was a catholic, but she became a protestant for some reason. She succeeded in getting one of the priests of the time to turn over to the protestant religion with her.
    The parson as he then was, was loaded with riches and made chaplain of her Castle. She determined to test him one day and pretended to be on the point of death. She called him in and implored him to tell her
