The above 3 cures were given by Michael Dillane, Listellick, Tralee, aged 50 - A cure for a headache was got in the dandelion. First it was pulled and thoroughly washed in cold water. IT was then boiled for about two hours. It was then taken up and strained. This dandelion water was called dandelion tea. When it was cooled off there was some sugar put in it and this was supposed to be a great cure for a headache. Long ago when people got a bad cold they got Cairrigín Moss near the sea.They used to peel it off the rocks, lay it out(continues on next page)
