but he went to a dance instead.
As usual it was very late when he was returning home and he heard great noise and music and singing following him.
To allow those who were after him to pass him out he stepped aside and went in hide. As the procession went by he heard people talking and he heard one voice saying that they should get Mickey Moran to carry the corpse. So Mickey was discovered in his hiding place and made take a corpse on his shoulder. After a while he got very tired as the corpse was very heavy. As he wanted assistance he looked at the man near him expecting some help but he was only a skeleton and the hand of his shoulder was nothing but bones.
Mickey got very much afraid as he knew then they were ghosts so he continued his journey in silence. On approaching the churchyard the gates swung open and the funeral went in. Then they locked the gates and the ghosts disappeared.
