Once there was a man who lived in Ballynahone whose name was Hugh Hughban. He lived alone. One night he was sitting at the fire and two little boys came in and talked to him. Hugh had a big head of hair. At that time there were potatoes called Corkrids. They asked Hugh whether he would like Corkrids or hair. Hugh said he would rather have Corkrids. Then the two lads went out. Hugh went t bed, as usual, that night. When he awoke in the morning the room was full of Corkrids. He put up his hand and found not a hair on his head. - Bailitheoir
