Long ago the King gave an order that a battle was to be there but no one new where it was.Kilmocar: The townland of Kilmocar is called after St Mocheara. He had a church there until Henry De Rockford came and took it. There was a well near by called "Tobar Muire" where the Blessed Virgin was supposed to have appeared.
