- Story: True happening. In Corraghduff in the parish of Donagh about 68 years ago lived a man, with his sisters, by the name of Robert Mitchell. One day he happened to be out in the fields looking after his cattle, when he saw a hair rope some three or four yards long lying on the ground. He picked up the rope and took it home and threw it up over a beam of wood over the door. The next day he and his sisters churned, and to their amazement, there was so much butter on the churn, that the lid could not sit properly on the churn. This happened on three occasions so he thought perhaps the rope had some connection with the coming of the butter. Next day he carried it out and left it where he got it. The next churning was as usual. He went out to see if the rope were still there.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
