- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)him warning. One day a man called John Finnegan was pulling little trees in a glen in which there were supposed to be fairies. When night came he thought it time to go home but when he went to go out of the glen he was not able to do so. He tried his way everywhere but was always stopped. He was there for about six hours until his wife and some of the children came to look for him with lanterns. They found him sitting down crying. The man always said it was because he had pulled some of the fairy plants.
