- Story
One winter's night some years ago a good many card-players were gathered together in a neighbouring house. Johnny Shea Gerah, Farranfore was among them. They sat down at the table and started playing the cards. After they were playing for about an hour Johnny got very tired and he went asleep in the chair. The other played away until it got late in the night. When one of them was about to go home he asked Johnny the time. Johnny was between asleep and awake and he said, "tis clock, clock, clock."
