- St Lawrence O'Toole was and is the patron saint of the locality. I have heard no tradition in the locality relating to him.
There are pilgrimages to the blessed well in Lacken near Holywood, Co Wicklow every year and people bring home with them bottles of the water. There are also pilgramages to Wolfe Tones grave in Bodenstown, near Sallins, every June. It is about 21/2 miles from Kilteel.
There is a large stone cross in the field beside the castle. It is lying down and the top is broken off from the lower part. There is also a holy water font of stone and three granite steps where the entrance to the old church used be. There are also stones with carvings.
