The four rods are then tied together at each corner with a bit of wax end and then they are shaped into a square.
After this a few boultry rods re procured and are cut into lengths of a foot or ten inches.
These rods are entwined between the sallies until finally the cradle is complete.
Then the craftsman gets a light rod and shapes it into a semi-circle and this he ties to the hind corners.
Two small rods are then procured, one known as a "gablog" to hold up the cradle and the other a "perch" to hold up the underneath branch.
