- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)suggested getting some help to take him out of bed. He was taken out, dressed and left in the yard. About the same time a man called to this house looking for lodging. When he saw the young man lying in the yard he sat down with him. As they were talking the doctor called and offered a pound to the laziest man. The newcomer said "I am the laziest man. Don't you see me on my knees and I am too lazy to stand up." But I don't see any stir out of this other man, said the doctor, "I think he has won the pound. Get up and take it," he said addressing the lazy man. "Bring it here to me" he answered. You won't get it if you don't come for it said the doctor. Oh he replied, you may keep it so" He had to be carried in at twelve o'clock that night. Next day the doctor called again but his patient was too lazy to speak to him.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
