Larry Gaule of Ballinarougary or (Baile an Rógaire) did a wonderful feat of walking one time. He was a farmer and his lease of land was for renewal. A land grabber in the district (name given but not for publication) heard of this and meant to go to the landlord's office or the landlord himself who lived in Dublin to get the new lease over the head of Larry Gaule.
