A robin generally builds her nest in a mossy wall. She makes a very tidy nest and lays five or six eggs in it. The eggs are white and dotted with brown spots. The robin hatches the eggs for about a fortnight and then the young birds come out.
A hedge-sparrow, builds a very small tidy nest and lays four or five dark coloured eggs in it.
The tom-tit builds her nest in a stone wall and lays seven or eight eggs. The eggs are something the same as a robins egg.
The bullfinch is a very nice bird. People do like him because he eats the buds off the apple trees.
The boglark is a brown bird. She lays four or five small green eggs in a nest in the stump of a sgeach
The skylark always builds her nest on the ground and lays from three to five eggs in it.
The brownín lays six black and white eggs
