- There was a poet in Ballynooney about one mile from Mullinavat. His name was Patrick Rose. He used to work with the farmers and got a lot of money from visitors for making poems for them.
One day he was passing down the village of Mullinavat and he saw a sign over a Public House door.If you are dry,
