    The spot where the coach was robbed is now called "The Soldiers Bush". For many years the soldiers appeared twice a year in the form of hounds with fire coming from their mouths. At that time there were no clocks and one night a poor woman got up to go to the market in Carrick. When she got to Killamery a man told her to come inside the ditch for a few minutes.
