Mass, Father Moore requested of the Acolytes that they should not light the candles. On going up to the altar he breathed on them, and they lighted immediately. When Holy Mass was over, he breathed on them again and quenched them.
Afterwards, the old priest told Father Moore that he had proved to him that the complaints which had been received, were entirely false, and from that day onwards, a mutual friendship existed between the two of them.
A blessed well now marks the field in which Holy Mass was celebrated and it is called "Father Moore's Well." Many people visit it and the majority of them, who suffer from pains, headaches, etc. are cured. In thanksgiving they leave crutches, crosses, and beads. Three visits are required to complete the cure.
