Mary Byrne - Round Kilcullen it is an old custom not to buy candles on Christmas eve - at the Christmas shopping - the shop-keepers give those free, - also the making of a Christmas pudding, nice, currents etc.
Tessie Tynan - On Christmas night every child in the house get punch or wine. it is an old custom to remain with one's own family all Christmas day.
