- I heard of a treasure which was hidden in the middle of a castle on Mr Wallace's land and a bull was left in care of it, Two men heard of it and at dark of night they set out to dig up the gold. After much trouble they came to it when the bull came and chased them they were forced to leave their tools after them. This story was told to me by P. Gorman aged 64 years.
