Ar an leathanach seo

  1. In Mr. Collier's field at the "Hand" there is a fairy-rath. This rath is in the townland of Cross. It is in view of another in Mr Lawlor's field.
    They are both of circular shape. A fence of thorn-trees fences Collier's rath. At the "Hand" there is a hole in the wall and people say that this is a fairy pass leading from the rath in Mr. Lawlor's field to the one at the "Hand". It goes through the field and out between two trees, and into the rath. The hole in the wall at the "Hand" can never be fenced. Many people have often gone down into it but cannot find where it leads to, as there is a lot of stones at the bottom. It is supposed to be underneath the stones that the rath is.
    There were people who had con-acre from Mr. Collier, One of them ploughed the "Hand" field and when they came near the rath one of the horse dropped dead and the other died afterwards. Other people heard music coming from the rath over to the "Hand" at about twelve o'clock at night. Lights have
