- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)come on 29th June. There is a very nice shrine at the well at present and there has been a wall built round it. People say no one has ever seen the trout since that was erected. Their is a tree growing over the well and people say that it was St. Fintan planted it.
St. Fintan was a very kind Saint. He had a white horse which he used to ride about on when he went from one part of the parish to another. When the faithful animal was growing old the Saint did not permit it to either die or suffer and it is said that he turned it into stone.
There is an old legend which states that at one time there was a holy well in Clonenagh.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
