    about a mile and a half from Aghavoe they stood to rest, and as it was a very warm day they were thirsty and they could find no water anywhere about. There was a large rock nearby and as the were searching for some a drain of water burst out through the rock, and then they drank their fill, and this drain continues to flow to the present day.
    When they sat down they left the coffin down, and from that day till now the sign of the cross is printed on the face of the earth. If that spot is ploughed the sign of the cross remains there and if it snows it remains there also.
