- Quite near the Dune of Clopook on the south-west side is situated the Grave-Yard of Clopook.
This is a very Ancient burial place as some of the inscriptions prove. Ogham lettering has been discovered on a Couple of the flat tomb stones.
The Ruins of a Chapel are in the Centre of the grave-yard - opposite the main entrance. It was dedicated to the Blessed Virgin.
This Church consisted of a nave and Chancel; the nave measured 38' x 18'; the Chancel which had a round-headed arch, measured 24' x 18' . The door was on the south west. There are traces of an east window, also two lanced windows in the nave, 9 feet on the outside. One in the North, and the other on the South side.
