  1. One of the oldest Family name's to be found in fair numbers in this locality is that of O'Doran. They seem to have been an important tribe or Clan hundreds of years ago, the occupied large territory in Killeshin and viciaity and have survived the many stifes and trouble's which scattered many other ancient Clan's
    The ODoran's are still rooted to their ancient stronghold as some of them are landholders and are worthy members of that old name of ODoran.
