  2. Once upon a time a young tinker and his intended bride went to the Church to get married. On arriving there they hadn't any marriage money so the priest refused to marry them. The young intended Mrs Tinker asked the priest to wait a few minutes and she would borrow the money. She ran out and where did she go but into the priests house. She asked the maid for the priest's over-coat as the day was cold and he was feeling chilly
