    western side of the village. The largest lumps are still there and they form hills in the fields. The small hills of moorland were removed before they settled down but the big ones were neglected. Grass grew over them and to-day they form hills here and there on the fields that were level, once.
    While some of the houses were unhabitable temporary houses were built for the people. Lord De Freyne aided greatly in putting up wooden houses for them until their own homes would be ready to live in.
    The news of the Moving Bog reached many parts of the world. Accounts of it were seen in American newspapers and visitors came from many parts to see this rare happening.
    Before the Moving Bog took place there were many more families in the village than there are to-day. Each family had only a very small holding of land. Some of them were removed by the Congested Districts' Board and they
