  2. Story of the Haunted house of Grange.
I live within a short distance of the house which was once occupied by Robert Ormbsy or better known as Ribbard na Gligar. I would like very much to know all about its history and the stories connected with it, as it looks very romantic and picturesque on its surroundings. I cannot meet anyone the present day who knows much about it, all I can rember is a story told some years ago by an old man now dead it was something like this.
In the olden times it was occupied by Robert Ormbsy he was high sheriff of the district in the penal Times. Sheriffs at this time did terrible things to their tenants then. This man was so cruel that one of his practices was to hang the first man he met on Monday morning. He acted as executioner
