    damaged the cream the poor people had to churn they also ruined the firkins of butter that was for sale. These men were called the Molly Mc Guires or the Mollies for a short name. All the people of the village brought the milk to this big barn where the spinning was carried on, and left it to gather there. The Mollies came and broke the spinning wheels, crocks and everything else in the house. The heckling and spinning came to an end The ruins are still to be seen at the back of Tiernan's house.
