Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Many new roads have been made in this district since olden times.
    The main road leads from Longford to Strokestown. It is known as the Longford Road. There are numerous by roads branching off this roads.
    As we come out from Stokestown is our village the first branching roads is the Roscommon road, which leads to Roscommon town. Next is the Carnaska Road which leads to the village of Carnaska. These two roads are on the right hand side.
    On the left is an old road leading to the Demesne. The next road is a new road, it has been made recently and leads to Levalley which is a village. On the right hand side is the Ashbrook road which leads to Ashbrook village.
    Next we come to the Scramogue - cross Roads, when roads meet.
