This story tells us how it got that name. - The unlucky days of the week are Monday, Wednesday and Friday and people say that if the man and woman after getting married enter their house when the fire is lighting that is a sign of good luck for the rest of their lives.
If they enter when the fire is not lighting that is a sign of bad luck.
It is a custom to have the girl wear as a rhyme says, "Something old, and something new, something borrowed and something blue."
