Ar an leathanach seo
- One night there were fishermen out fishing when they noticed a large
sea-worm following the boat. The worm came near, and was trying to overturn the boat, so they threw out a stool which the monster swallowed. As he was still following they threw him a bucket. This also disappeared. The third time they threw him a goat which he also swallowed.
Still he was after the boat, and he came under it and capsized it, and a woman who was onboard was swallowed by the worm, and then he disappeared.
Some time after as fishermen were hauling in their trawl net, they caught the worm in the net. They killed him, and when they cut him open there inside was the woman sitting on the stool milking the goat into the bucket.
