- The treasure is suppoed to be hidden in Clocán Gearr in the townsland of Curramore. Clocán Gearr is the name of a small bridge that crosses a little stream. The treasure is supposed to be a crock of gold. It is hidden under a castle where the ruins are still to be seen to-day. The family who lived in the castle dug all round it and it is said all they got was a bad halfpenny. A big black dog is still minding the crock of gold and any people thought they saw the dog cross(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
