- Nowadays travelling folk seldom frequent this village unless a fair is held. Long ago many were to be seen. The Quinns were one of the kind. They were known as the long family because there was a lot of them in it and they used to go like ducks along the road with the father and mother first, and the seven daughters and one son following them.
