- There was once a minister in Glengariffe. One day he invited the Parish Priest of Adrigole to dinner. It was in a side car he went driven by his servant. The minister had a parrot and he could say "Amen Lord Jesus". When the Parish Priest heard that, he said that his own parrot could not that. He sent his servant home for his parrot and when he was coming back with the parrot, accross the hill he fell over a fence and said:- "The devil take the priest and Minister" When he reached the Ministers house they put the two parrots together, the priests parrot said:- "The devil take the priest and Minister" and the other parrot said "Amen Lord Jesus".(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
