A very flourishing Mineral water factory was carried on by the firm of Mr N. J. Walsh and Co. in the Glen and the premises are now occupied by Mr John Murphy and used as a Coal and Manure Stores.
The Minerals manufactured by this firm being of a high class order secured several prizes at Exhibitions, and were often sent to Cobh.Rope Making:-
