  1. The landlord of this district was Captain Anderson. His family were landlords for about one hundred years. He was looked upon as a very bad landlord. The landlord had power to punish people. He evicted many people from their lands. Two of those who were evicted from their lands were Mr. Kelly and Mr. Donohue. The land was divided into farms. The people who were evicted had to set up tents in the dikes. Tithes were collected in this district.
