- One night, two men stole a bag ful of apples, out of a local orchard. They went in to Knockavilla graveyard to divide the spoil. It was after midnight.
They divided them thus. One man put his hand in the bag and taking out an apple handed it to comrade, saying "One for you". He then took out another apple and placed in his own bag saying "One for me". He continued his division thus for some time.
