    loopholes in which were so arranged that missles could easily be showered on invaders.
    A considerable portion of Castleinch was blown down during a storm in Feb. 1903. In 1907 a further portion was demolished by vandals in search of building material.
    The overland approach is from the main road at the village of Srelane (Ovens) From here a well kept by-road leads in a N.E. direction through the townlands of Mullagh Ruadh and Ballybritain to Castleinch
