    His brother Tim used to beat all the neighbours in performing the hop, step, and jump, and could lift a table in his mouth. One day someone put a weight on it unknown to him, and in his attempt to lift it he broke four of his teeth.
    There was a great hay-mower living in Derryleigh named Cornelius Linehan, known among the neighbours as Con Ruadh, on account of his red hair, who mowed an acre and a half of hay in a day.
